The paper presents possibilities of drainage systems identification by means of remote sensing for their future management in order to keep agricultural production or to improve non-produce functions of drainaged area with decreased natural value. Localization of drainage systems in the fields is the basic premise for their management and maintainance. Eventual methods and principles of drainage systems identification for purpose of their location and their actual condition assessment are listed in this paper.
