In 1988 long-term research project of monitoring and investigation of Picea abies stand production activity under the impact of air pollution was started in the Moravskoslezske Beskydy Mts, Czechoslovakia. The relationships between photosynthetic activity, stand microclimate, stand structure and cambium activity of trees will be studied.
