The method used is based upon the point method which evaluates the recreational value of forest stands along recreational routes, ie along places with the highest frequency of visitors in productive forests. These problems were solved within the scope of the model territory of the Drahanska vysocina (Drahan upland). The results of the present study gave evidence as to the suitability of productive forests for recreation and the influence of forest management activity on the recreational potential inclusive of empirical verification of the method proposed (at Forest Complex Prostejov).
