A methodological procedure for the ascertainment of the water-regime of a geoecological locality is indicated and a practical application in the example of a temporary grassgrowth by the results of the experimental territory Nova Huf is demonstrated. The results obtained made it possible to evaluate the water-regime of the natural and various artificial geoecological localities in the experimental territories of Bohemian Forest (Vimperska vrchovina, Sumavske Plane, Vltavicka brazda), to compare with the optimal supply of water of the geoecological localities; to judge human interventions into the water-regime and to propose an optimal structure of the geoecological localities.
