Urbanity is characterized as a qualitative aspect of urban structure, as the idea of choice and the needs of residents and visitors. Urbanity and identity, reflected in an urban environment are the following quantities of permanent urbanization process of the concentration of material and spiritual culture. In the identity of the city, urbanity is abstracting mainly through the operational continuity or influence of the quality of character’s expression of environment complexity. City-creative complexity of spatial and operational structure is a presumption of urban structure creation in way to ensure satisfaction of the needs and requirements of residents. These properties are compared in the two selected areas along the Danube waterfront in Bratislava and Novi Sad. Like other major cities, Bratislava is trying to restore city-creative integrity by the Danube waterfront. Indicated potential of both the waterfront gives to Bratislava all assumptions to development. Evaluating the presentation of city-creative activities in terms of development of each city and an indication of the new potential of the waterfront completion is evaluated their preparedness for completing the requirements of human lifestyles and urban society change.
